Sandy Gehler joined Baird in 1994 and has over 30 years in the financial services industry. Sandy helps people achieve financial security through comprehensive financial planning and investment consultation to individuals, families, and businesses. In 2005, Sandy earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. In order to obtain this certification, Sandy met rigorous education and experience requirements and she is held to high ethical and professional standards within the financial services industry. Sandy leverages her education and experience to help clients achieve their financial, estate planning, and retirement goals.

Sandy obtained her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation in 2024 to specialize in divorce financial planning issues. She can help clients understand the financial impact of various settlement proposals and other finance-related decisions.

As a lifetime resident of Wisconsin, Sandy is passionate about giving back to her community. She is a member of the Madison Downtown Rotary, 100+ Women Who Care and sits on the Board of Directors for The Cap Times Kids Fund. During her free time, Sandy enjoys spending time with family, crocheting, quilting, reading, and traveling.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP® Board's initial and ongoing certification requirement.

*Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC). QPFC is the professional credential for experienced financial professionals who advise and support qualified retirement plans. The QPFC program provides an understanding of retirement planning concepts, terminology, distinctive features of qualified plans and the role of retirement plan professionals.To obtain the QPFC designation, one must pass four exams. Once the credential has been successfully obtained, the designee is required to participate in extensive continuing education.
